It's never too early to start thinking about Christmas! Registration for Christmas hampers will be during the month of October this year. Please attend the food bank and register in person. The food bank will be closed for Labour Day on Monday, September 7th and will re-open for clients on Wednesday, September 9th at 1:00pm to serve clients. Wishing you all a restful day off!

This is Shannon and her 3 adorable munchkins. They stopped by yesterday to drop off a trunkload of donations. Shannon organized a food drive at her workplace (Randstad Engineering) and arranged for porch pickups for each and every item before delivering to us. This is what community spirit is all about! Thank you to Shannon and her helpers (big and small) who came together to make this all happen!

These masked superheroes are Tasha and Bethany from the town of BWG (check out their awesome carrot-themed masks!). They delivered donations from Carrotfest today. Haafid Rahman is a volunteer with an amazing new charity called Conquer Covid-19. They donate PPE to front-line workers. Today, Haafid delivered 1000 face masks to The Helping Hand Food Bank so that our volunteers can work together safely during this pandemic. Thank you Conquer Covid-19!
