Painted open ceiling & ducts gave this basement the height and space it would have missed with a dated drop ceiling. The modern and industrial vibe, is warmed up with hanging interval globe lights. This was a totally unfinished room. We bumped up the height of the window, opened the width of the entrance to the room, dry walled, closed off the hot water tank and electrical, added an exterior door to the cold storage to optimize the temperature, and brought in the best people for carpeting to give a nice plush feel.
