One badass 4.6L 4V Modular Motor long block we built a while ago. 1000+ whp in a convertible mustang will be crazy. I guess the saying no replacement for displacement doesn’t apply here...
Another 60’s Austin Healey 3000 series engine, this one got ran on the dyno! All new bottom end, aftermarket aluminum cylinder head that’s been ported and polished. And a hot rod camshaft. Sounded great with the Weber side draft carbs!
It's been a while since our last post, we have been super busy. This was a 7.3L Powerstroke short block we machined and assembled. The arp main studs and girdle should stiffen and support the bottom end. @ Brad's Automotive Machining
Perkins A4.248 diesel out of a forklift that got a full rebuild. It had an internal water leak from the front cover to crankcase that got repaired. Ready to get back to work @ Brad's Automotive Machining

351W built for boost! This will be going into a foxbody, only the best on this build...Iron dart block, Callie's crank and Rods, Billet Gibtec pistons, and Brodix cnc'd cylinder heads and plenty others. We broke the motor in N/a on the dyno @ Brad's Automotive Machining

A small block Chrysler came in with a broken crank. It was originally a 360" now stroked to a 409". Clearances checked, new bearings, balanced and an eagle crank
This was a set of Edelbrock 455ci Oldsmobile heads that we did some porting on! We made some good gains over the stock casting @ Brad's Automotive Machining

We had some special guests' last week!
Brad's latest creation! This is a 450ci pump gas SBC. Lots of time and effort into this one. An iron dart block, billet Gibtec pistons, Callie's crank and rods, cnc'd Brodix cylinder heads, Jesel valve train and belt drive, and a complete Peterson dry sump oiling system. The motor is going into a 3rd gen Corvette so space was limited and removing the power steering pump wasn't an option. So the oil pump was mounted In the middle for a compact package. It's a unique design and one we haven't seen before! Other one off parts include a set of cnc'd intake manifold spacers with o rings, water manifold, valley cover, setup of front drive for alternator and power steering and fabricated Williams oil pan. And of course topped off with a Bob Book carburetor. @ Brad's Automotive Machining
We finished up this Big Block Ford. Eagle stroker kit turned it into a 557 ci torque monster, It will work well in the fields hauling grain for its owner @ Brad's Automotive Machining
409ci Turbo SBC build. We bumped up the compression with some billet Gibtec pistons. Also machined for o-rings to seal the high cylinder pressures. The short block is completed and ready for all the boost! @ Brad's Automotive Machining
RB30 machined and ready for assembly for Rev'D Performance! Crank collar installed, bore and honed with torque plate, coated CP pistons, line honed for arp main studs, and decked. @ Brad's Automotive Machining
A few refreshed LS7 heads out the door! The valve guides were badly worn, touched up the valve seats and took a skim off the deck . They both recieved steel Manley valves, bronze guides, dual valve springs and fresh seals
Here is an LS7/LSX engine we built a little while back that hit the dyno a week ago! Its built for boost using only the best parts, an RHS block, Callies Crank, I-Beam rods, Annodized Gibtec Billet pistons and Hand ported LSX heads. Chad installed his motor and procharger setup into his C6 Vette!

Another big block out the door! A new Callies crankshaft and custom Gibtec billet pistons! The customer will be taking this to Vegas in a couple weeks.
Finished wrapping up this 1948 Ford Flathead V8 It's interesting to see where we started to where we are in the 21 century. It was rated at 100 bhp back in the day. Next will be to break in the new Isky cam and make some noise
Finished dyno testing this 585 cid BBC! We designed a new CNC manifold in house along with a new carb and used different race fuel. We picked up an extra 100hp from last year
