PAUSED Welcome Winter. Out of respect for my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, fellow Albertans and Canadians I will sign off for Christmas this year on all the socials. My heart hurts for those of us who have suffered the loss of loved ones this year, those of us who are absent from family, those of us who are reeling from financial pressures, those of us who are angry and dejected as a result of the health crisis, those of us who are newly divorced and away from... our children for the first time, those of us who are unable to seek solace in an annual Christmas vacation. Please consider holding closest those you know who suffer with addictions and poor mental health as they are often more vulnerable than you could even know. Take the time to share the message of Christmas, whatever that is to you as it could bring someone hope. The rest of my Christmas will be spent with those closest to me being silly and enjoying simple fun for the first time in years . My charitable efforts this season are being focused on the women and children of @eaglesnestshelter in Morley who seek safety from danger and violence at the hands of their partners and also on those that suffer in the tightest grips of addiction and depression. This year, together with my newly created real estate team, we have decided to take a break from the promotion and focus outward on community outreach as that is where my heart is and always has been. Be kind. Avoid Gossip. Dig Deep. Include everyone all the time. Ask for help and Give with fervour. Share the message of Christmas. From my family to yours.
