Does anyone know if this is a toad or a frog? The little guy was so unique. He was climbing up my dining room window and under all his legs he was bright yellow with black dots. Not sure what kind it is. He wasn't totally lumpy like a toad; in certain spots he was nice and smooth like a frog.... They don't shed their coat at all do they? See more

I thought the Covid-19 pandemic would absolutely be our undoing; it was touch and go there at the beginning. So very grateful for our new guests and our loyal, repeat guests. You've all made a very delicate situation bearable and we thank you!

We had the pleasure of hosting the team of Global Barber. Wonderful group of people that I hope to see again.

Our first guests of the season gave us no advance notice. lol Dan advised that we cover them with some grass and walk away, and while the mother in me thought, "No, they look abandoned," I knew that their mama would be back at feeding time. It only took a day or two before they had moved out. @Brandonmanorbnb, we've also nested long enuf and are now #OpenForBusiness. I can't help thinking of all the small businesses owners who fell through government eligibility cracks and didn't qualify for help. I think of all their dreams. I think of how much each business makes up the fabric in the quilt of our small community here in #PortHope.... It doesn’t cost anything to dream - time, money or hard work, #hustle, on the other hand, costs all of that and more. My #sidehustle has been screening at 3 different hospitals. I like it actually and am grateful for the work. As things begin to open up, I know we will all continue try to work just as hard at keeping our small community of Port Hope #OpenForBusiness.
