October is RVT Month. We would like to thank all the Registered Veterinary Technicians and Staff members for putting our patient’s Health and Wellness first. Thank you for your dedication and Hard work.

Dear Valued Clients and our four pawed friends We are writing you in response to the recent COVID-19 pandemic in the area, we want to let you know that our office remains open for the same operating hours from Mon -Fri(8am-6pm) , Sat(8am-12pm).We would try our best to provide the utmost care to your pets but the sick and emergency cases would be taken care with more deliberation. Elected surgeries and appointments can be booked after April 2020. As for human contact we are do...ing everything we can to prevent the transmission of the disease. We are asking for your help. It takes proactive steps and a team approach to ensure a clean and hygienic atmosphere. If you have travelled, or are exhibiting respiratory symptoms, we ask that you have a friend bring your pet in if necessary, otherwise please call the office first to make other arrangements. We have placed sanitizer at the reception desk. Our team is carefully cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces (computers, keyboards, desks, pens, etc.). During busy periods of the day, we may ask you to wait in your vehicle until the exam room is ready for you and your pet. If you are anxious about visiting public spaces, please contact our office. We are committed to making accommodations such as curbside assistance and drop off appointments. We are happy to retrieve your pet from your vehicle and perform services inside the hospital while you wait outdoors in your vehicle or at home. We have informed our employees that they should not report to work if they experience fever, cough, or shortness of breath. They have been instructed to follow their doctor’s and CDC guidelines regarding medical care, quarantine and when it’s appropriate to return to work. Please let us know if you or someone in your household has had any exposure/symptoms to COVID 19. This will allow us to make special arrangements to limit exposure. As cash handling can be a source of infection, we are encouraging debit or credit card payments for the time being. Please also be advised that payments for food and prescriptions can be taken over the phone, and we are happy to bring your items to your car in our parking lot. Walker Road Animal Hospital will continue to be open 24/7, but will only be seeing patients on an emergency basis as well. Please stay home, and stay healthy. Thanks for your flexibility and support.
