#discoveringbrazil In times where we can’t travel, we from Brasa decided to take you to meet places. Although the feeling is not the same, you can always put names on your list and get anxious to meet it someday. The first place we introduce you are the natural pools of Barra da Lagoa, right next to the beach barra da lagoa, after a small trail in the island of Floarianópolis - SC we find one of the nicest spots in the island to enjoy the sun and the sea _______________...___________ photo taken from the website deixadefrescura.com @ Piscinas Naturais Da Barra Da Lagoa See more

Brazil In Black and White discusses how race is seen differently in Brazil than most of the world. The podcast is both interesting for Brazilians and non-Brazilians because, for the first, it shows an American perspective (what are they questions) about Brazil, for the second, it explains how race is treated differently in another country. check the link on our description

Hey, everyone! I’m Angela, BRASA UBC’s vice-president! I’m currently starting my second year at UBC, majoring in Cognitive Systems. My dream is to one day be able to apply all my knowledge about human behaviour in public policy analysis! My absolute favourite place in Vancouver is Kitsilano it’s my go-to spot to wander around, go thrift shopping and have a nice cup of coffee in a cute little café. Nice to meet you all, beijinhos! photos were taken from the website: kitsilano.ca and insidevancouver.ca

*THE MAN FROM THE FUTURE* To be honest, the main reason I saw this movie was because one of my favorite Brazilian rock songs was the theme song, and I don’t regret it at all. The time travel rom-com has Zero as its main character, the loser who keeps trying to make things turn to his favor and keeps failing, and while you keep rooting for him, you are always questioning if he will be able to do it.
