EXCITING NEWS! Brassroots' recording of Jealousy, from our album Passion for Brass, will be featured in Season 4, Episode 2 of the hit TV series Fargo. It will be available for viewing on September 27 on FX Now Canada and Hulu and later this year on Netflix.

For Celtic Spectacular, Sat February 29, Darryl Stacey is on bass guitar. Darryl is a graduate of Western, has been a professional musician , as a sideman and leader, for over 40 years. For the last 11 years of its existence, he was a key member in the house band at London’s iconic jazz club Maggies. Celtic Spectacular, on this Saturday Feb 29, includes special guest bagpiper Kally Lasseter. Kally is a grade twelve student at A.B. Lucas Secondary School. She has been a competitive bagpiper for seven years, winning several solo awards. She is a former member of the London Firefighters Pipe Band, and is now a part of the grade three Guelph Pipe Band, who are the current North American Champions. Celtic Spectacular, this Saturday Feb 29, features Nora Corrigan and the The Doyle Corrigan Academy. Born and raised in London, Ontario, Nora fell in love with Irish dancing at the age of five. Nora’s major highlights are placing 4th in the World Championships and All Ireland Championships. Touring Australia, Asia, Europe and North America for Riverdance - The show as both a troupe and female principle dancer. Celtic Spectacular, this Saturday Feb 29, features many special guests including Jesse Grandmont. Jesse started playing the violin at the age of 3 and has been fiddling around ever since. His performances have taken him across Canada and the US as a soloist, theatre performer and musical director. Jesse is also an accomplished teacher and conductor working with the Forest City String School in his hometown of London ON. Jesse has been a recurring cast member at the Victoria P...layhouse Petrolia since 2012, and has worked for other top Canadian theatre companies including Drayton Entertainment, The Grand Theatre, Rainbow Stage and The Stratford Festival. You can catch Jesse this summer with Drayton Entertainment in his own show: Fiddler On The Loose and at the Victoria Playhouse Petrolia in September in When Irish Eyes Are Smiling. Celtic Spectacular, this Saturday Feb 29, features many special guests including Tara Dunphy, an award winning singer, songwriter and multi instrumentalist. Best known as the co-founder and lead singer of acclaimed Canadian country group The Rizdales, Tara began playing the tin whistle at 3 years old under the guidance of Paddy Fagan. She has performed and competed across North America, released 7 studio albums and lives with her husband, two children and their sweet old dog in London, Ontario.
