https://edition.cnn.com//lion-air-crash-boeing-/index.html The incident took place 02 months back in October 2018 when Lion Air Flight 610, carrier Boeing 737 MAX 8 crashed near Indonesia. The pilot in charge of the investigation filed lawsuit against the manufacture of the aircraft Boeing. The lawsuit is filed in Chicago and has three major allegations against the company: The Boeing aircraft's sensors improperly caused the plane's automatic anti-stall system to lower th...e nose of the plane and cause it to dive steeply and crash. The aircraft's anti-stall system and flight control systems failed to timely respond to pilot control of the aircraft. The aircraft's manual did not have proper instructions, policies and procedures for taking over the aircraft when these systems malfunctioned. As the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated in the United States at the beginning of March, so too did Google searches for business continuity planning. "According to a survey by PwC, only 22% of CFOs claim they could return to "business as usual" within a month after the Covid-19 outbreak ends. This in itself is an unfortunate statistic. However, couple it with the fact that it doesn't appear as though our current crisis will be completely over anytime soon, and it becomes obvious that significant changes in business operations need to be made. To ensure a successful return of the workforce and to maintain business continuity throughout any crisis, you need to put the right tools and procedures in place." #BusinessContinuity #BusinessContinuityPlanning #COVID19 #Pandemic #RemoteWork

"As businesses confront turbulent times, their ability to understand, manage and control processes is critical to smooth and continuous operations. Across industries, business leaders have and continue to react swiftly to the operational process changes dictated by the pandemic. But at some point they must thoughtfully assess: do we revert back to the old way of doing things? Continue along the current path? Or strike out in a new direction to redesign business operations for the medium and long-term?" #BusinessContinuity #BusinessContinuityPlanning #Covid19 #Pandemic
