Nicky Garrett - Mentor, Adjudicator & Workshop Instructor From choreography to performance, Nicky has spent the previous 21 years of her life happily immersed in the world of dance. Nicky has studied extensively in various genres, including acro, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, tap, pointe, ballet and hip-hop. Nicky pursues all opportunities to enrich her knowledge and skill in the art of dance. Throughout her teaching career, Nicky has acquired numerous credentials, inc...luding: Acro-Dance Teacher’s Association, Adapt Teacher’s Training School, and membership to the Professional Adjudicator’s Alliance. Nicky is also a recent University of Waterloo graduate, holding an undergraduate degree in honors legal studies and sociology. Nicky has a wide variety of performance and choreographic experience. Highlights of her performance experience includes a guest appearance on a Carnival Cruise Line, a Waterloo Choreographer’s Ball, and a Toronto Raptor’s basketball game. Nicky additionally performed as an actress for Busy Bees Parties from 2013-2017. Fascinated with the creation of movement, Nicky has choreographed professionally for several years, consistently acquiring overall awards for her students at competition. Most recently, Nicky’s professional choreographic experience has expanded to include wedding choreography, as well as choreography for London’s 2019 Fringe Festival show Say Nothing. Today, Nicky is continuing to indulge in her passion for dance as an intensive and guest teacher throughout the Tri-Cities and GTA, and as a choreographer and instructor for a number of local studios, including a competitive university dance team. Nicky is the owner of Learn 2 Dance (Ontario) and the co- creative director and co-owner of the Breaking Boundaries Movement.

Nicole Clinton - Mentor & Adjudicator Born and raised in the small town of Ayr, Ontario, Nicole began her dancing career at the age of 3 in Paris, Ontario. And throughout the last 21 years, Nicole travelled wherever her love for dance took her, from Burlington to Kitchener and ended her competitive career where she started, in Paris, Ontario. Over the years, Nicole gained experience and completed exams both in Russian and RAD Ballet. Since the age of 10, Nicole trained ...intensively under the professional hand of Miss Paula Morgan of L.A, who has developed and created her own technique that assists dancers in strength development and posture alignment. Nicole has attended many workshops and training classes to improve her passion for dance and along with that she has travelled to New York City where she took intensive training classes at Steps on Broadway, has also travelled and performed with the world-renowned Carnival Cruise Lines and has performed with the Toronto Raptor’s at half-time. In 2015, Nicole received the Young Choreographers Award receiving numerous scores of 95+ with routines choreographed by her. Since this first choreography recognition, Nicole’s choreography and students have competed and been recognized at numerous national competitions, achieving many titles, special awards, and scholarships. Nicole’s students have attended The Dance Awards in Orlando, Florida and in Las Vegas, where they have been selected to compete for the title of Best Dancer 2019 and have placed in the Top 10 dancers. Nicole’s students have also been invited to exciting opportunities such as Stacey Tookey’s Camp Protégé and have received numerous scholarships for Dancer Palooza conventions with pieces choreographed by Nicole. Currently, Nicole gives her time teaching and instructing intensive workshops with numerous studios within the KW region and GTA.
