As we face the difficult challenge of responding to the coronavirus (COVID-19), which the World Health Organization declared a pandemic, The Waterside Inn would like you, our loyal customers, to know we are doing everything possible to keep the safety of our guests and our employees our top priority. We are closely monitoring the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local health agencies for the latest developments related... to COVID-19 and following the guidance of government and public health officials. We are adhering to the latest instruction from the CDC and WHO on hygiene and cleaning and making sure to be even more mindful of all public areas. Our health and safety measures are designed to cover a wide variety of viruses, including COVID-19 and cover everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product to guest room and increasing common area cleaning procedures, including lobby, elevators, door handles, public bathrooms, etc. As of March 17, 2020, the Government of Ontario announced that it is taking decisive action by making an order declaring an emergency under s 7.0.1 (1) the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act. As a result, please note that Breakwater Restaurant is closed until further notice and room service will not be available. We will continue to post regular updates to our Guests and Team members and at this time, we would also like to take the opportunity to thank you for your continued support.
