Some people are there for you, some aren’t, some fade away, some don’t know what to say - so they say nothing and some say the complete wrong thing . What we can help with is what NOT to say! They’re just boobs; Free boob job; Its only hair; My aunt had cancer, she suffered and died a horrible death; I took my [insert relative here] to treatment appoi...ntments it was really hard on me; Just be positive; How much should I donate to pink ribbon charities; If you had/didn’t have children you wouldn’t have this; OMG who’s next; Your to young to have cancer. These statements aren’t helpful, considerate, educated or beneficial. Lets work together to find compassionate meaningful ways of impacting cancer patients lives without the above statements!!
