Amazing things happen when you collaborate! We are aiming to safely reach 900 seniors in Cape Breton South (Port Hawkesbury area and Richmond) this year with Holiday Happiness For Seniors. These packages will include a DVD of diverse local performances to celebrate the holidays and a meal certificate (seniors can use when they feel they can safely do so) and a homemade card made by local residents (many of whom are kiddos). Here is how you can help. We’d like to also... include a Holiday ornament in the 900 packages we are assembling for our amazing seniors. You can drop these off here in town at the Fleur-de-Lis Tea Room and Dining Room or BaRyKin Café and Bakery (if you live in - or near) Town. Other locations in Richmond are: (St Peter’s) Louie’s Cozy Corner or NSLC (Louisdale) Co-op (Arichat) Co-op We are hoping to gather 900 Christmas ornaments by Dec 16th. Help us treat 900 seniors with holiday happiness this year. Christmas can be a particularly difficult time of year - especially in light of Covid. Let’s work together to make this happen!!
