While I am continuing to teach online yoga this fall, my small home-space in this Covid world makes a return to in person classes impossible. And I also need the space for Brick Books work. So, I'm selling the yoga equipment I have. Happy to do piece-by-piece or a package deal. I've got meditation cushions ($20 each), round bolsters ($20 each), square bolsters ($25 each), blankets ($10 each), blocks (10/pair), neck pillows ($5), straps ($5 each) and eye pillows ($5 each). At the risk of incurring vitriol, this is a response I received from the Canadian Yoga Alliance when I suggested that telling members to use essential oils to disinfect spaces was not adequate in this time: "It appears you feel we made a mistake mentioning essential oils. You are right... perhaps Lysol and bleach would do much better ..we can spray Lysol in the air around us and /or the deadliest most toxic chemicals we can find...that could work. But again there's no proof or evidence of that either. Let us trust that people in business have the intelligence to make the right choices." I have replied that I will be posting this on social media and that I will not be renewing membership in their organisation. By the way, I live with an infectious diseases expert.
