Integrity is a powerful energy that I don't think I truly valued until I started to work with a team. As a teenager, I quickly realized how damaging not keeping my word was to my relationships. People in my life decided that they couldn't rely on or trust me. I had to do a lot of repair work to change that. This now, without a doubt, is a non-negotiable core value of mine.... #5 Walk Your Talk. Standing in integrity with what you say and what you do. If someone on my team doesn't follow through on what they committed to and hides their slip up it's a sign that they are not ready to be a leader with my organization. Also, upholding the 3 Pillars of a Healthy Relationship with Money is a lifetime journey. You have to do the work. No secrecy, no pretending they have their shit together if they don't, no posturing. This work is vulnerable and brave. Walking your talk doesn't mean you are perfect. It just means that you will stand in the arena and play the game with honest integrity. I believe in the power of living courageously and the precious gift that sprouts from compassionate self-reflection. I want everyone to have the experience of being seen. After a sales call, a workshop, a program and after reading an email, my goal is that you feel seen on some level. Reminding myself of my Core Values regularly is powerful and liberating. Sharing them with my community and the world has allowed me to understand the importance of being in integrity. Especially, with this third core value. #3 Amplify Generosity- I believe that gifting and receiving happens simultaneously. They are not independent of each other. ... When I give to someone my life expands and when I can truly receive from someone their life expands. The power of receiving is often undeveloped in this world. It can get mistaken as taking. To truly receive honours both sides of the equation. The bible was misquoted...it was actually supposed to be "It is just as blessed to give as to receive." Generosity is a flow of energy in and out. Have you ever been given a gift that you couldn't receive? A compliment, money, adoration? If you don't fully receive it you have stopped the flow of generosity. The gifter cannot receive the joy or expansion they hope to create in you. When I work with people that are the Caretaker Money Archetype, givers. I reflect to them that they are in the power position. They create both emotional and financial indebtedness. The power and vulnerability of receiving and consciously gifting is what creates a whole person. We need to do both.
