Got a call today that someone had grabbed a swarm of bees for me! Moved my empty hives onto the stand I made with the exception of 3; 1 of which had a wasp's nest in it and the other 2 had ant colonies. Clearly i have some work to do there. Anyhoo.....drove out to pick up the bees and brought them home. Threw an empty super with honey on the top and hope it will help them, you know, not die

Haven't posted anything in awhile. Work has kept me busy so not a lot of time. Finished the shed....sort of. Still need roof trim and to patch the little holes in the roof. The outside needs some extra trim and staining as well, but it's to the point we can move boxes in. Also am in the process of building a little 'office' in the corner to store all buy childish trinkets

Haven't updated you all on how the shed is progressing so figured I should do that. Got the tin on the roof, but still need to put the roof cap on and fill all the holes in the tin. Also framed in a little area for a future man cave/office but for the foreseeable future it will just hold boxes. Last weekend I helped take down a fence in town in exchange for all the lumber so I got a bit of the chicken coop/bee yard fence put up. I'll trim the tops off at some point, but not tonight. Mosquitoes have drained me and I need to recoup the lost blood.

Finished putting up the last truss and ladder thingy on the shed. Now to put up rows of 1x4s so I have something to screw the tin roof to. Fog rolled in so if my film studies is any help, that means some sort of supernatural demon or extra dimensional creature is coming for me. Or zombies.
