During the day before the ice came along. Then the ice with a sunset.

The sunset last night was breathtaking only to wake up to a sheet of ice over the whole Bay. Hope it stays flat and gets thicker. That way it will be great for skating.

A beautiful end to a great day in November. It was warm and almost balmy out today. Let me finish the last garden stuff. We are now ready for winter but hope it stays a long way off.

Last week we had some strange visitors at Brennan Harbour. The OPP Bomb Squad was here. I guess fireworks are not the thing to set off this time of year. Actually really they were here for 3 days of training. The really great thing was that they let our 2 grand sons play with the robot for a bit. Caius and Oscar had to navigate it through a course and place an item in a bucket. It’s not every day that you get to see a fellow walk around in such protective gear. Just another week at the Harbour.

Another beautiful night at Brennan Harbour RV Park. The lights shining at many of our sites make nights an almost fairyland like Park. The moon glistening across the Bay only adds to the ambiance.

Henny is doing a routine inspection of our backhoe to make sure that it is running properly. I’m hoping to train one to operate.

We’ve had a visitor at our garbage bin today. She was trying to get into the bin. She probably was smelling fish guts or fish remnants that someone put into our garbage bin. Hopefully she stays away as our kids walk, bike and ride past there regularly as do others walking to or from the beach.

Looks like one of our Attack Trained chickens for Park Security is checking out dinner or maybe it’s going to be dinner. This great picture was posted by one of our campers. Our dymanic duo keep patrolling our Park to make sure all is in order and pick up the odd grub here and there. Be careful they are highly trained and can run / fly like the wind if required to protect themselves. They always come home at dusk.

Here are some even more current pictures. James was busy today flying about and taking great pictures. Blue sky, warm, calm water and lots of greenery, what else can you ask for? Well Covid-19 to go away and the high water levels to start dropping. Otherwise Brennan Harbour is a great place to vacation and stay for summers to come.

The latest aerial picture of our beautiful Park. Sure is green this year. All our new sites are done and are being occupied. We only have 2 seasonal sites left. Just wish the water in Georgian Bay wasn’t so high.

We had our first Kid’s drive in theatre event which started with the kids making cars and decorating them Saturday afternoon. It was supposed to be outside but the weather was not co-operating. Early in the evening the kids drove their new cars - there was a bit of rivalry between Fords and Dodges but all fared well - to the theatre to watch Madagascar 3. Popcorn, snacks, goodie bags and drinks were all provided. Again due to the rain, the theatre was indoors. A grand evening was had by all. Many thanks go to Savannah, Carol, Janice, Samantha and Cathy for planning and hosting the event.
