Definitely makes the top ten list for dangerous installs I’ve come across. That’s plain single wall black pipe going through a wood wall, that’s dryer than a gin martini. Single wall black pipe needs a minimum of 18 of clearance. This had maybe 1. ... The crimp on the black pipe was going all the wrong way letting creosote come down on the outside of the pipe instead of the inside. Good potential of falling on stove top and reigniting. To top it all off none of the black pipe was screwed together, and the stove had a big split in it. The outside was another story.... No tee was used on the outside, only an elbow to collect creosote. The whole thing was supported with bailing wire.

Yesterday was a Beautiful day to be installing in Killarney. A little hot , but still beautiful.
