We just finished getting this new build weather tight. We lucked out with weather on this one. Here are some pictures throughout the build. What a view!

Some photos of a job we recently finished. The home owners wanted maintenance free. We re-framed the stairs over the existing concrete steps that were in pretty rough shape. All the decking is composite with white pvc risers, skirting and vinyl railings. What do you guys think?

Check out the before and after pictures of a service call we received about roof that had been leaking. There was 12-14 inches of solid ice that had been building up for quite some time. Once this occurs, there’s nowhere for the water to go once the snow starts to melt. Our crew secured the area below, set scaffolding up and safely removed the ice from the roof. Why is there ice at the edge of your roof?... This phenomenon is known as ice damming, and it happens when two conditions are met: Snow has built up on the roof; and The temperature of the roof covering is above 0C. Most often, heat loss from the house is what causes the roof covering to warm up. A spell of warm weather can also be the reason, of course. If there’s snow on the roof and the temperature then dips below freezing, an ice dam can form as follows: The bottom layer of snow or ice on the roof melts because of the heat. The melt water runs down the roof. The water freezes once it reaches the roof overhang, which is colder then the rest of the roof. That ice builds up and forms a dam at the roof edge. That water has nowhere to go, so it seeks another path: under the shingles or tiles. Often it seeps into the attic and outside walls. See more
