Core & Pelvic Stability Bear Craws! Starting on all fours lift your knees off the ground and raise your pelvis until your back is almost parallel to the floor. Keep it slow and controlled while engaging your core to keep your spine stable.... This exercise is great for the end of a workout and is probably something different in your routine! Core stabilization as well as pelvic stability is absolutely key when training and is paramount to keeping back pain out of your life! #chiropractor #movement #bearcrawls #exercise #rehab #training #fitness #health #wellness

The human brain uses upwards of 20% of your body's energy in one day. This equates to approximately 400 calories a day in the average person! What does this mean for trying to lose weight?... The vast majority of food you eat is used to run body processes other than using muscles, such as your liver and kidneys. Muscles also only account for about 20% of energy expenditure of your resting metabolism. What this means is that controlling your calorie intake is vastly more important than emphasizing exercise when trying to shed some pounds! *I am not advocating not exercising. Exercise has numerous benefits and is linked to a wide variety of positive health effects from improving mental health to decreasing risk of cardiovascular disease. Very simply if you are running yourself into the ground exercising and still not seeing results maybe it's time to analyze what you're eating! Reference: Berg, J. M., Tymoczko, J. Golf is back! Arguably the most essential movement in a golf swing is the ability to rotate your hips! If you don’t have the flexibility to rotate your hips not only will your score suffer but excess force will be translated to your lower back. If you’re getting out on the links this summer try working these exercises into your routine and then enjoy the results! ... #movement #golf #exercise #summersports #chiropractic #manualtherapy #health #wellness
