Thank you Greenwith for keeping our area litter free. This morning as I walked along the Golden Way chatting with residents, I collected less than a quarter of a bag of rubbish. Smallest rubbish collection ever!!
As most people know, I live just a short walk from Golden Fields and walk up and down the Golden Way, cleaning up our area. I have, like many of us do, great pride in the area we call home. I was so pleased to see the Christmas tree farm pop up in Golden Fields, after so many of our children worked so hard to create and decorate them, they were beautiful. The senseless destruction of these trees is a disgrace. Thank you to those amazing children for your hard work. I will do what I can to have them restored and displayed.
Our Christmas Festival starts shortly to bring festive joy, happiness and cheer to all Tea Tree Gullians! Break out the Santa hats and and let the fun begin! https://bit.ly/3pl0otH #ChristmasFestival2020

The mall walkers have always been my biggest supporters. So it was nice to do something special for them this morning. From all reports, the bacon and egg sandwiches I made were a hit!!
Great night catching up with friends, former team mates and those I have battled on the field. But geez it was cold tonight. But things were definitely warming up at the Zulus Presentation evening as they took to the old pitch to say goodbye, with a rounding rendition of the club song.

Proud Councillor Post!! I'm very lucky to live in and represent such a close-knit community. A big thank you, Laurie, Sue, Lachlan, Taylor and Amalie who have adopted an area, to clean up our community.... If you would like to adopt an area, please give me a call on 0434366469.
Such a beautiful morning for rubbish collecting. Thank for all the toot’s, waves and those that stopped me to chat during my clean up of the Grove and Golden Way this morning.

We ate at our amazing local Italian restaurant again tonight, it was great to see the Tea Tree Gully Which Bin? Initiative being implemented on their pizza boxes. For anyone wanting authentic Italian pizza, you cannot go past The Italian Kitchen in Greenwith!
I found the Samurai Sword in the bushes during my morning rubbish collection on the corner of the Golden Way and Grove Way. This is clearly a dangerous weapon and I was really concerned about the potent for someone to be seriously injured. Children walk daily to and from Golddnfields, to and from school every day. ... A young child may not understand the harm it could cause and either hurt themselves or seriously hurt someone else. It was extremely irresponsible to leave this weapon lying in the bushes where anyone could get hold of it.
If you’ve seen someone walking through the streets of Golden Grove with a Samurai Sword recently, please advise the police. I found this in a bush on the Golden Way this morning during my regular morning rubbish collection. It’s now with the police.
The dream of every little kid is to kick a goal after the siren to win a Grand Final. Happy Monday indeed!!

Monikas Organics employs 18 staff & supplies Coles, Woolies and independents nationally. TTG council passed a motion on Tuesday night to consult the community on remaining a GMO free community, subject to PIRSA agreeing, which has denied. Over to you Minister David Basham, a local business and local jobs are in your hands.
Have we recruited a new COVID Marshall at the library??
Bowling........ Beautiful day for the opening of the greens.
Big Day!! First meeting with the community around Palomino Reserve in Wynn Vale. Then off to watch the D’s kick their way into the GF. Well done Huss on your 250th. It was nice to see they brought out the good toilet paper for you to run through.... Stopped by the Hockey Club to check out the rolling meat. Finally watching the Gullies kick themselves into the GF.
Tea Tree Gully Council will commence landscaping the completed section of Golden Grove Road. While it will take many years for the native plants and trees to grow, they have been chosen to support the wildlife in this area.
It is so important that the Memorial Drive Upgrade ensures the historical significance is respected and maintained.
What a beautiful day!! Now just need the win!!
What a day!! This is all I saw of the footy!! I spent the afternoon making about 200 hotdogs, no clue how many steak sandwiches and bucketloads of chips in the canteen.... Well done to the A’s and B’s, straight through to the GF!! Bad luck to the C’s, have a great night!! And to my lot the D’s 2 more to go!! And my other lot the Elite, well we had fun the other week!!
Whoop, Whoop teenage Joans. Well done, you’ve done yourselves, your families, our school and our community proud!!
It's R U OK?Day, a reminder that every day is a day to start a conversation that could change a life. Today we're calling on Australians to learn what to say af...ter R U OK? so they can keep the conversation going when someone says they're not OK. There's more to say after R U OK? Learn what to say when listening with an open mind Learn what to say when encouraging action Learn what to say when checking in Learn how to continue a conversation that could change a life.
