WORLD TRAVELLING BARRELS In order to make our whiskey distillery collab dream a reality, our good friends @egansirishwhiskey shipped us their ex-cognac barrels all the way from Ireland to Vancouver a distance of 7109 kilometres (hence the name Seven One Oh Nine). Once the Imperial Stout was aged in the barrels for six months here at BREWHALL, they were shipped back to Ireland to finish a new Egan’s whiskey which will eventually be making one final transatla...ntic journey back to Vancouver. DAYS LIKE THIS Double dry-hopped with some of our fav’s, Days Like This is loaded with ripe pineapple , passionfruit and candied orange notes from the Citra, Vic Secret and Columbus hops. This is our third collaboration with Superflux, and we couldn’t be happier with this beer. Full-on flavour and with a citrusy finish, when it’s not always raining, there’ll be Days Like This.... BREAKEVEN BOTTLE NIGHT On November 6th, we will be tasting a 27-year-old single malt Scotch from the @Bowmore distillery, located on the island of Islay in Scotland . Part of the Vintner’s Trilogy, this whisky is "meticulously double matured with a luxurious balance of sweet, spice, salt and peat smoke, from the home of the world’s oldest Scotch maturation warehouse, the legendary No. 1 Vaults. Double matured, first for 13 years in ex-bourbon barrels, then for 14 yea...rs in port pipes, resulting in a deep mahogany and perfectly balanced liquid."
