After 4 months of Industry shutdown I am happy to report that I have been back to work! It is slowly coming back and everyone is being very cautious. The train is rolling and will be picking up steam! Let's hope we all get on it before everything ends! ...local production reference, let me know if you get it!

I am so disappointed to hear this news. SyFy is not renewing "Deadly Class" after a breakout Season 1. This is such a blow to the talented filmmakers, cast and... crew who worked on it here in Vancouver! Its too good to to be left behind. If you like beautifully shot, anamorphic feature style TV, anything goes story lines, over the top, strong characters mixed with a bit of violence... ok, maybe more than a bit, I highly encourage you to seek it out. Rick Remender is a stand out writer, so good that the Russo Brothers got on board! How can it end? This show was way too good for SyFy and they have no idea what they are losing! If Deadly Class can get to another network it will become a cult hit! PLEASE! SPREAD THE WORD! I had the privilege of having my son Christian come out as our EPK sound mixer on "Henry's Heart" a short film by Joshua M. Ferguson and Florian Halbedl of Turbid Lake pictures. This was the first time we have ever worked together and I loved it! Christian did a great job! It was a really good weekend. Christian recently received his Music Technology Diploma from Douglas College. He really enjoyed doing field audio and is thinking of pursuing it as a career. If anyone is looking for an up and coming audio mixer...? A BIG thank you to Richard Crooks for donating his entire field audio package for Christian to use.

This past weekend I volunteered to work on "Henry's Heart" another short film by Joshua M. Ferguson and Florian Halbedl of Turbid Lake Pictures. This is the second film of theirs that I volunteered to produce the EPK. I realized why I do this. There was a crew of over 50 extremely experienced professionals who all donated their time. It was a very inspiring 3 day experience as everyone wanted to be there to make their contribution to an artistic film with an important message.
