Happy Friday! You may have recalled that in the last few years, I have taken photos of either Amar or Purub. Actually, Purub is turning 1 years old soon but rather than a cake smash, his parents wanted family photos. The day of the photo session was calling 35 degrees in Vancouver and so we decided to take photos in the morning so it wouldn't be too hot. By the time we finished, it was already warm and Amar got want he wanted, to swing on the playground swing. Happy Fall Everyone! I took a bit of a hiatus, like everyone else, due to Covid 19. But in August, I was asked by the T Family to taking some family photos and I was up for it. We decided to take photos at Britannia Shipyards where it was all outdoors and the day was sunny. In 2018, I took newborn photos of Maxwell. This year, he became a big brother to Malcolm, who was only 13 days old for the photo session. Taking photos of Malcolm was interesting because for him to remain calm and sleepy, he preferred someone to hold him. But once he got tired, he was asleep where I was able to capture those sleep poses of him. Also, as you can tell in the photos, Maxwell adores his little brother and can see that they will grow up to be best buddies. My last photo session of 2019. Some of you may be familiar with the K Family because this is my third time taking photos of them. What is amazing is that the K Family are located in Canada and USA and when they have a family reunion in Vancouver, they have always contacted me to take photos of them. In 2015, I took newborn photos of Ella. This year, she became a big sister to Kayden, who was only 10 days old for the photo session. I had a fantastic time capturing photos of Kayden with Ella. As you can see in the photos, Ella was so caring and adores her brother. Capturing photos of Kayden by himself was a bit tricky because he had a hard time falling asleep. However, once he fell asleep, I got those sleep cozy photos. I have finally met my match in terms of putting a newborn baby to sleep for the photo session. For whatever reason, I could not get Riley, who was 11 days old, into a deep sleep. I tried everything I could but every time we put her into a pose, she would sleep for 5 minutes and then wake up and cry. I was under pressure but I am happy to say, I did get some great photos of her sleeping and also awake!
