Seeing devastation weekly has been hard on me and, although I do have the privilege of shutting it out, I feel that understanding the voices of individuals affected by this year is truly important. . Since I’ve been home I’ve been developing my music. As 2020-21 unfolded, I began writing profusely; trying to emphasize inclusivity by mixing genres to show that, despite differences, we can all share a sense of humanity through music. .... I’m excited to announce an album: Solidarity. More information coming soon. . . . As I write this, I acknowledge that I am not the most intelligent person, I recognize that I am not often heard as a voice of justice, but through my work I want to be a voice of healing. I want my music to solidify and bring ease to those who have little hope.
