Who here really wants to build a business and get to those consistent 10k months? Can I get a "HELL YA"!!! Now, who here thinks there is some sort of FAST PASS that will get you to the front of line quicker, easier without all the hassle and waiting?... Hmmm...guess what? Online entrepreneurship is not Disney. It's not the land of VIPs where you get to bypass the hard stuff. Nobody is handing out skip to the head of line cards. You want to start a business. I had zero idea what to charge. I had no network of people to market to. I built that business by DOING. Once I was successful and hitting my 5k months, I took what I had DONE and built a framework around it. I then started charging people who wanted to start online businesses from home - for this framework. My second business was born. My clients wanted to start a freedom based business that would allow them some flexibility in their lives... but they had no clue where to start or what to do. I swooped in with my simple business building framework knowing more about their problem then they did! The sales was easy. I sold simple. I sold short-cuts. I sold a solution to their problem. This is business building 101. No express lane. No fast pass. No VIP lounge. You follow a plan. You get help with the things you don't know. You fail and adjust. You stay 2 steps ahead. Write a headline that intriques, provokes, captures attention, speaks to your ideal client's biggest problem. Add white space between sentences. (use the preview feature to see how the text looks) Always include a next-step at the end like asking a question or making a statement like " Drop a comment below" or "LMK below" Don't batch comment - only comment to a few people at a time. SELLING DURING COVID-19 I work with a lot of different clients, from different walks of life, different socio-economic backgrounds, races, religions, different countries, different continents. Over the past 2 plus months of shut down, I have been asked the same question over and over How do I sell in a Covid-19 environment??? There is no simple answer and quite honestly my perspective has changed and evolved as I continued to prospect and sell. First, let me suggest that while COVID-19 has changed the way we work and where we work, it hasnt changed our need to GET RESULTS We need to keep the RESULTS we get our clients top of mind when selling and put on our GRIEF GOGGLES . Yes, you heard me our grief goggles. You see, every single person in my life, my circle, my orbit is experiencing loss Loss of a job Loss of a routine Loss of a workspace Loss of income Loss of a social life Loss of weddings and celebrations Loss of a support network Loss of entertainment (shopping, dining out, coffee chat) Loss of loved ones, in some tragic cases Honestly, can any of us truly remember such a devastating and disruptive time??? Everybody is working through some stage of grief or loss due to these restrictions and unknowns. So what does this have to do with selling? Everything. We are a people united in grief, in loss, in fear. The overall mood in this country is glum. How would you sell to someone who you know is grieving? Theres lot more noise out there in the online world and customers have more choice than ever before! As a marketing coach and consultant, over the years I have personally tried everything fb stalking, adding friends and family to groups, cold DMs, fb ads, google ads, price slashing and giving it all away for free!!! Sound familiar??? Everything clicked for me when I started working this SIMPLE STRATEGY Let me break it down for you Find a group in your niche that has at least 25K members Find posts that resonate with your particular business and audience. Then look at the comments and shares. Find the post that have at least 100+ this is a good indication that the post content is meaningful and people are interested. Take the post content, catalogue it in an excel sheet, trello board, airtable or a google docbasically, file it away so that you can potentially build a searchable content library. (thats for another day) Next, rewrite the post in your own words, with your own flare and you own point of view. DO NOT COPY. DO NOT PLAGERIZE. DO NOT BE LAZY. Take your re-worked post and start posting in groups where your target audience hangs out. Based on the fact that you selected the post topic in a large group and that the post originally had 100 interactions pretty much guaranteed that people will automatically start to like and comment after @10 seconds. This will build up the post authority and tell FB to show your post to more people. People then start checking out my profile and adding me as a friend. MAKE SURE YOUR PERSONAL PROFILE IS OPTIMIZED. Wall bait, freebies, CTA are must haves! Be diligent. Be inspired. Do this each and everyday. Make it part of your daily Social Media Workout . (ask me about this!) You will start to see results! HOW TO MAKE PEOPLE BUY YOUR PRODUCT OR SERVICE. Most people search for solutions to their problems, not products. They want PROGRESS. ... They want to see a clear OUTCOME. They want you to SHOW them not TELL them how you can solve their problem. If people can't see how their problems can be solved by what you are selling, they will walk away. So, GET ATTACHED TO PROBLEMS. AND be clear on the problem you are solving. BTW it has to be A REAL PROBLEM a problem that exists in nature. 1. Find the problem 2. Offer the benefit 3. explain why your product will solve it. Be specific. Be clear on the outcome. Most people tend to be vague, or complicated or make too many promises. Ex. A life coach that says they MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY. (too broad, too vague, too unclear) Ex. A business coach that promises a 200% increase in sales in 8 weeks. (too academic. Not tangible) Ex. A course creator that promotes 20 videos and 10 fillable workbooks. (no solution. No clear outcome) You must understand your clients pain points and their desires. So, GET ATTACHED TO OUR AUDIENCE and THEIR PROBLEMS. TIPS: 1 SELL THE BENEFITS not the features. HOW DOES THE PRODUCT MEET THEIR NEEDS? 2 Don't make your marketing message all about your product. Make it about their problem and your solution. 3 Focus on EDUCATION not PROMOTION. 4 Ensure that the outcome is tangible something your prospects wants, needs and can sink their teeth into.

HOW TO WRITE AN EMAIL IN 15 MINUTES OR LESS! Writing an email shouldnt induce panic. Too many entrepreneurs spin their wheels on their weekly emails to the point of not doing them very well or not doing them at all! ... Writing and producing content on a regular basis can be a challenge for most entrepreneurs and a good chunk of my consulting business has been creating engaging and original content for small business owners. People typically struggle with two things: 1. finding their unique voice and 2. finding the time to actually sit down and hammer out the copy I have been using this simple step-by-step approach since my days in a newsroom writing stories and generating 4 story ideas a day! 1 Write a stand our subject line. Dont try to be too clever. This is your chance to pique your readers interest in the inbox and entice them to open your message. Tips: No requests. Avoid 1-word subject lines Dont beg for attention Dont make it sound like its generic or automated Avoid ALL CAPS No false scarcity or urgency Dont try to be too cute or clever 2 Add a pre-header - a line of text that appears beneath the subject line in the mobile inbox. It is the first line in your email body text. Think of it as an extension of your subject line. No more than 6-10 words to catch your readers attention. Tip: Pretend a friend is asking you Hey what are you going to write about today? Answer in 1 simple sentence that is crystal clear. 3 Pretend that same friend is asking you to tell her more. Answer in 5 simple short sentences. Tip: Use bullets. Readers are most likely skimming. 4 Include 1 call-to-action. Tip: Position your call-to-action towards the top of your email so that its visible and doesnt readers to scroll. 5 Add 2 sentences to each of the 5 sentences. Add details and some color! Tip: On average, emails with less than 20 lines of text see the highest click-through rates. 6 Proof. Edit. Format. Send. Tip: Remember that research shows that the best days to send are Tuesday and Thursday and times vary between 6am, 10am, 2pm, 8pm. I personally have had the best open rates with 6am and 6pm. I highly recommend you use an ESP like Convert Kit or Mailchimp to manage you email campaigns. It is simple, robust and allows you to easily segment your audience and set up automations. Both have a cool feature that lets you resend your email to people who didnt open it the first time.

Email #3: Time to connect. Create a unique reason why this specific prospect would be interested in speaking with you. How can you help. Incentivize them to book a call with you. Keep it short. But be clear on what's in it for them and why they should book a all with you. Email #4: Follow-up. Dont ask too many questions. Ask one simple question. Keep it focused so there is just one simple response the recipient can make.
