Bargains at the Bridge has been fortunate to have received really great donations from all you generous folks. Lovely clothes and interesting, beautiful and useful items have been coming in. Thank you! Right now at The Bridge we have a great selection of material and craft items for sale. The Bridge Adult Service Centre is all about teaching and applying new skills. After a short demo from BASC staff Sonya, Michelle became a natural with a camera. Bridge client Michelle has recently been taking pics of some of the Bridge Auction items. She really enjoys using her new talent and helping with our auction. Thanks Michelle!!

Our BOTTLE DRIVE is an year round fundraiser. All the funds raised go directly towards fun events for our clients: trips, pizza parties, special supplies such as Wii games, and activities such as bowling. Due to Covid regulations, masks are mandatory, please use plastic bags-no personal baskets, hampers or reusable bags and no personal soaps, bounce etc. The Bridge Laundry Service is a social enterprise of The Bridge Adult Service Centre, a not for profit organization that serves and employs adults with intellectual disabilities. Staff and clients of The Bridge Adult Service Centre are very excited to be included in The Town of Amherst 1st Annual Scarecrow Stroll. During October, our sca...recrow family is on display during at 16 Station St just inside the front entrance (facing Station St) Strollers can get a close up look at our scarecrows Mon-Fri 9-3 (masks must be worn inside our building and please follow social distancing guidelines). After hours you can take a peek through the glass doors. We would greatly appreciate your vote for favorite scarecrow!!! Visit the town website and Facebook pages for more information on voting for your favorite stuffed folks. You can also submit a selfie with the scarecrows to win prizes. We at The Bridge Adult Service Centre are very grateful for all the donations we receive from the good folks in our community. Bargains at the Bridge and the Br...idge Auction would not be possible without them. We would not be able to have the programs, activities and employment opportunities for our clients without the revenue from our thrift store and fb auction as well as from The Bridge Laundry and Client Council Bottle Drive. Sad to say when donations are left on our property after hours, they WILL without a doubt, be stolen, vandalized or damaged by weather. We have installed security cameras and have reported many incidences to police but the problem continues. As a result your generous donations do not reach us. To avoid all this, we would please request store/auction donation drop offs be limited to Mondays and Thursdays 9-3 by appointment only.
