Worth a read.... Time to address the housing crisis of low inventory and high prices.
Vancouver in the 70's had a very different skyline compared to today. Although the stunning mountains remain the same, we've had quite a few new additions to the city since then. It's always fun to look back and compare to today!
Prior to purchasing your next home, you'll want to do a thorough inspection. Bathrooms are especially known to be a source of mould and leaks, and require extra attention. To ensure no issues arise after a sale, it's recommended that you turn on faucets and tubs to ensure they drain, keep an eye out for cracked tiles, and that you assess any dampness around the toilet.
This year, townhouses are predicted to have high appeal throughout Greater Vancouver. Not only do they provide additional space, but they do so without the added costs that arise with a detached home. And, with so much time spent at home this last year, they also provide that much needed outside space. However, prior to looking, it's important to understand townhome terminology, including the difference between a freehold and strata property.... It has been a long year, but I think the people of British Columbia have done a great job in staying safe.
