She owns a good chunk of my heart swipe to see some cousin times

Well, here she is, just being one! I was feeling guilty yesterday for not posting a photo of her on her FIRST birthday, but then I realized what a silly thing it was to feel bad about that! We had a busy day in the best way yesterday and my heart was so full. I didn't have time to post a photo, but Evelyn doesn't even know what Instagram is! What she will learn is that Oma and Grandpa love her so much from afar from the birthday package she had waiting to open in the morning.... She'll be excited every time Dad drops her off at Pake and Bep's because she knows how much fun she has there. Someday, when @lkradde drives her home, she'll want to chat with her and enjoy that special time with her aunt. When she's older and someone gives her a gift, she'll understand and be able to appreciate the blessings that she's been given (for now, I'll thank @bekahjean92 for bringing a gift to our place for Ev when she was supposed to be getting the gifts for her wedding shower!). There will be no doubt in her mind that she is loved beyond measure because when she comes home to a house filled with Mom's friends and they all snuggle and chat with her even though they've all finished long days of being mamas to their own littles As I write this it brings tears to my eyes what a wonderful life this little girl is surrounded by. I'm so thankful that God chose us to be her parents and I'm so thankful of the proof that yesterday showed that we are most certainly not doing it alone. Photography has given me some unforgettable days! This was one of them! On the day my brother got married I not only got to be there to witness the ceremony and attend the reception, but I got to hang out with my stunning sister-in-law and her girls in the morning while they got ready. I got to see her open a gift from my little brother and take photos of the necklace that I knew he was so excited to give her. I got to capture all if the dress flouffs and veil whooshing.
