There are new restrictions in place in Nova Scotia, particularly the Halifax region. Regulated health professions, such as physiotherapy, are not affected at this point. Rest assured, I will do my absolute best to make sure that Bridgeview Physiotherapy is as safe as possible, with extensive cleaning between clients, mask-wearing for everyone, and handwashing and/or use of hand sanitizer mandatory. Do you struggle with your sleep? I know I do! I'm a lifelong night owl, with occasional insomniac. Adults need 7-8 hours of sleep per night, and adolescents need 10 hours. During sleep, your body's cells are repaired, so it is vital you get good sleep, especially if you are fighting a cold or disease, or an injury you may have. Not enough sleep has been linked to inflammation, high blood pressure, obesity, and diabetes, and even increases your risk of stroke. Think of it as self-care, and get some good sleep!
This sounds like a wonderful program! As someone who works extensively with women who are breast cancer patients, I love that there's an exercise program that will be accessible for all cancer patients.
Do you struggle with drinking enough water? I know I do! Drinking enough water every day will help you with digestion, energy levels, and even brain function. How much should you drink? Well, it varies based on your environment and your weight. For men, it should be between 2.5 and 3.7 liters per day. For women, it should be between 2.0 and 2.7 liters. Looks like I have some drinking to do!

I love this! I'm a dedicated veggie gardener, and it's great to see how much it helps cancer patients live healthier! I also treat breast cancer patients, and try to encourage the ladies to get back to the activities they love to do, including gardening!
