Today we want to introduce you to Kayla Schneider, one of the Saskatoon Early Years Family Resource Centre's family advisors! Our team of family advisors provid...e input and insight into various areas related to programming and operations. Kayla is the co-chair of the programming task team for the centre. Here's a little bit about Kayla: Kayla is the Family Literacy Coordinator at READ Saskatoon. She attended Grant Macewan University for Child and Youth Care Studies where she fostered a passion for family wellness and empowerment. Over the last 10 years she has worked within social services, non-profits, the school division, and in Preschool Mental Health. Her training includes many social emotional regulation programs for children and youth. She understands the great need for family engagement in order to achieve success. Kayla lives with her partner and spirited toddler in Warman. They both keep her laughing. As a family they enjoy reading and travelling together. We are so grateful to have Kayla as a friend of the centre!
