Do you remember this toy?? Tonka trucks were first introduced back in 1947 by the company, Mound Metalcraft. Tonka trucks were metal toy dump trucks that kids could use to dig and play in the dirt or sand. Tonka toys expanded to include other types of trucks and cars too. Tonka trucks are still made and sold today. Tonka trucks were so iconic and successful that they were inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame in 2001. #throwbacktoys
