Today may be warm as cuss, but the cold mornings and nights are here to stay for a while. Come in and grab some coffee to get cozy with for the weekend. Got a couple spots tomorrow still open for cuts. Look good, feel good, drink good coffee.

I’m still so pumped about this little thing we’ve all built together. Not a day goes by that I’m not extremely grateful that I get to do this every day. Thank you to all who have become part of the family the last few months, and to those that already were. If you’d like to help this family grow, tag or send this to someone who you think would like this little place I call home.

Alright y’all. I need your help. I don’t want this to seem like I’m complaining, but I’m frustrated and looking for some advice / opinions. (TL;DR I’m considering charging for no-shows and taking payment info when you book) I’ve had a problem the last few weeks with people booking appointments and not showing up. Then when I try to get a hold of them, I get ghosted. I understand cancelling your appointment. I understand things come up, and especially understand not coming i...f you’re not feeling well. But what has been frustrating is people just not cancelling and then not showing up and not giving reason. And the booking software gives plenty of prompts and opportunity to cancel properly. I’m getting to the point where I am busy enough that when someone doesn’t show, they’re taking a spot from someone else. And therefore taking money out of my pocket. I’m considering taking payment information upon booking so that if you no-show, you will automatically be charged a fee. I don’t want to do it, and I know it’s a pain in the ass for the people who are good about keeping appointments, but I’m not sure what else to do. What do you think? Would you be open to this? Do you think I should do it? Do you have other ideas? Dm me or comment and let me know your thoughts.

Safe to say I won’t be quitting my day job to become a hand model a la George Costanza. I’ve been in love with these products from @shearrevival since they came in. There’s a little something for every style, and the AP oil has been a dry skin saver (and is the best smelling beard oil I’ve found) And as a bonus for all you Spooky Szn lovers, most of the products are named as a tribute to various horror movies, which is a fun little rabbit hole to go down. ... Come pick some up. Or ask to try some with your next cut. You won’t be disappointed.

Obviously Thanksgiving looks a bit different than we all expected this year. For a lot of small businesses, the holidays are our time to shine. It’s when we get a lot of our business. Many small businesses even plan their year around a few holidays. This year has taken a toll on us all, and small businesses are no exception. From now until Christmas (and beyond that!) I encourage you to continue to support local small businesses. Without your support, all the little places we... love wouldn’t exist. Every time you get a cut from a local salon or barbershop, get food from a local shop or restaurant, or buy from a local store, your money goes to people in your community and helps them put food on the table for their families. I want to thank you all for your support and patronage the last 3 months. I’m honestly blown away and so grateful. Thank you for the unreal support of this small local business. And thank you for continuing to support small businesses in your community.
