Comparison is a trap you don’t want to fall into. One of the core foundations of NLP is that there is no failure, only feedback! When you think about it, failure is only possible when you’re comparing yourself to someone or something else. ... Comparing your income to someone else’s Comparing your results to another’s Comparing the size of your house or the car you drive Comparing how many friends you have or the size of your network. Comparison is the root of all unhappiness! If you take comparison out of the equation, and you solely focus on the direction you’re going, who you’re being while you’re on your journey, and the lessons learned along the way then there’s no such thing as failure! Failure is a construct made up by the human mind. In every outcome, you either win or you learn (and often both!). Remove the comparison, keep moving forward, and always learn as you go!

Happy International Women’s Day For generations, women have spearheaded growth, contributed to massive societal improvements and initiatives, and supported the development of civilization as a whole. When so many were told they can’t, there have always been women pioneers who have pushed through and created a new way. Today we stand on the shoulders of giants who paved the way for us. This day is a global day of recognition celebrating the social, economic, cultural and po...litical achievements of women and girls, and raising awareness of the work left to be done. We have come far in advancing recognition of women and girls accomplishments, and yet there is still so far to go. Today I celebrate the women who have come before me, especially my Mom and Grandmothers who always helped me believe in what I wanted to accomplish. And I celebrate my own daughters who will always know they have so much to give (and receive) in this world!! Who are you celebrating today?

Last week I did some deep-diving exploration into what I believe in and what I stand for. All of my work stems from this. Everything I lead others into is based on these truths. These statements are part of who I am and why I do the work that I do. It's about so much more than a nice-feeling thought. For me, this is why I'm here! So what do I stand for... I stand for love I stand for using my voice to lift others up. I stand for rising. Rising me and rising you so that together we raise up others, and the world I stand for expanding consciousness I stand for taking radical responsibility for both our inner world and our outer actions! I stand for contributing to a better world, where love, inclusion and justice prevail. I stand for empowerment, owning your personal power and embracing your gifts in a way that contributes to a better world on some level. I stand for doing the inner work required to release your limitations and clean up your past so you can align with your values and purpose while creating the impact you're here to make. I stand for unlearning and deconditioning to release what's not serving you, in order to reconnect with your truth. I stand for creating a world and environments where people are celebrated for who they are and are nurtured through their learning, growth and evolution! This is me! Knowing what you stand for illuminates your path forward as you continue to align your life, your work and your impact with your beliefs and values. Feelings are like waves, we can't stop them from coming but we choose which ones to surf - Jonathan Martenson How were you taught to manage your emotions as a kid? How you are taught is often how you process into adulthood. ... We’re often told to stop crying, not to be scared and that it’s not okay to be angry. We learn to avoid these emotions and then label them as bad. But in truth, there are no bad emotions. All emotions give you information that is meant to indicate where you’re at and what you may need. If we avoid these emotions, or numb them, we also learn to avoid and numb the good too. You can’t have it both ways. What’s important is the awareness around processing those feelings. It’s so important to take time to let yourself feel (however that looks for you) because human beings are meant to feel. We are emotional beings. And after all the processing is done take a lesson from that emotion.

Trust. Love. Surrender. These are my greatest life lessons on my journey so far, and they continue to expand as I go deeper. Trust Myself. ... Trust My Journey. Trust that the universe has my back! Love myself first. Love all others. Receive the love that's all around me Surrender to the moment. Surrender to the process. Surrender to the opportunities and learnings that life is bringing me. I ask myself, what is life bringing me in this moment? Currently it's an opportunity to lean back and receive. To be present in the magic of what is, and what's to come. To stand steady in my experience and to own my desires. To honour my values and lead myself first. I go first. I lead, and the universe follows! I've deepened my ability to lead and love with compassion. To stay true to myself and my desires. To meet my own needs and fulfill my own values instead of expecting someone else to do it for me. On my growth and empowerment journey, I've learned that ... I am love I am divinity I am the Goddess I am the master of my destiny! This is my truth! Do you know yours?

Feeling honoured and grateful! I was nominated for the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award with the East Gwillimbury Chamber of Commerce. I just finished filming my nomination video and am eagerly awaiting the awards ceremony ... With COVID, the chamber had to postpone the ceremony and have come up with an innovative solution.
