We’re reminiscing about summertime, and all the events Brightside DJs was a part of in 2019. One that really stands out this summer was throwing down majestic melodies for MOIST - Booze Cruise presented by OkanaganOffers.com which was a fundraiser for the Living Positive Resource Centre which provides supportive services to those affected by HIV, Hep C, or related health issues... While we watched the sunset over the Okanagan Valley, we were surrounded by #highvibes and beau...tiful people. We all had an awesome time playing drag queen bingo and taking in the always gorgeous drag performances (we love drag!)... We laughed We juiced the lemon of life sending the summer of 2019 off with a bang! Now, our DJ and events team are filling up December with Christmas parties, and 2020 is beginning to fill too. Our collective mission at Living Brightside and Brightside DJs is to create & support positive experiences online and offline. One positive event at a time, we believe we can change the world! The Arts BC conference had me thinking What can we do as a society to show more appreciation for art? How can we get artists more involved in our day to day culture? ... Yes, we see beautiful art so readily on Instagram and Facebook, but how do we take that to the next level and paint our city with colors?
