Dr. Pollard has been practicing in West Kelowna for the past 10 years and has formed a very strong bond to the community and its people. It was this connection that helped her make the decision to open Brightside Dental in July of 2014. She wanted to offer the highest quality care in a family practice setting. She has since brought on other like minded dentists to work alongside her: Dr. Schader (has been at Brightside since 2016), Dr. Belbin and Dr. Loo. I have always enjo...yed helping people. Dentistry allows me to do this every day, as I love to help each of my patients achieve their oral health goals. I am so passionate about dentistry and enjoy the detail oriented nature of the profession. My outgoing personality, energy, and enthusiasm blend well with my analytic and dexterity skills. Our goal as dental professionals is to focus on educating parents and children about decay and it’s prevention through healthy eating, proper supervised brushing and flossing, as well as regular visits to the dentist. By helping children establish good dental habits early, we ensure a lifetime of healthy smiles!

Meet Dr. Schader! Dr. Schader graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honours BSc in Physiology and Psychology in 1995. She obtained a Certificate of Health Promotion and Education in 1998 and graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Doctor of Dental Surgery with distinction in 1999. She then completed a general practice residency with a focus on medically compromised patients and various aspects of surgical dentistry. Upon completion of ...her residency, Dr. Schader worked in her own private practice and taught as an adjunct professor at Schulich School of Dentistry in London, ON. She and her family moved to Kelowna in 2010. Dr. Schader has been part of the team at Brightside Dental since 2016. When she is not working at the dental office, Dr. Schader can be found spending time with her family, travelling, and enjoying the outdoors biking, hiking, and skiing. I love both the art and science of dentistry and enjoy working with my patients to educate and promote oral health. I am passionate about providing patient centered dental care and am excited to bring smiles to the community of Kelowna.
