We’ve had a few reach outs from folks about a dog found in Arnprior that people were hoping was Evie. Unfortunately, that’s not our fur baby but hopeful that wee doggie finds her way back to her family just like our Evie will. Evie is still missing. We appreciate your continued support and shares. With your help we are confident we will will he reunited with her.

We are again appealing to the residents of Richmond... If anyone knows of anyone who has set up any cat feeding stations in the area, please send us this info (in a private message only)... we don’t want it to be shared publicly or disturb the feeding station. We’d like to thank the many people who have been sharing Evie’s story and giving us all kinds of suggestions and offers of help. It is greatly appreciated.

Please share! There is a $1000 reward for anyone who helps bring Evie home safely. Maybe you took her in because she was cold and you thought she was homeless? Maybe your neighbour has a new dog that looks just like Evie that they didn’t have before? No questions ask! The family just desperately wants their fur baby back!! Any potential sightings or if you think a neighbour / friend has her, please send the info to us. Please note: there is no evidence to suggest someo...ne has Evie but with no confirmed sightings and we haven’t been able to pick up on her trail (we have people part of the search team that have been very successful in tracking down lost dogs in the past)... so our minds are wondering if someone has her. Please share this poster far and wide. We are not sure if she’s still within Richmond, so please share everywhere. Evie: we are ready to announce that you are home safe. The girls miss you so much and can’t wait to shower you with love and kisses. Time to come home!!

The McKnight family took a bit of time tonight to get in the festive spirit for their girls sake. When visiting Santa, they had a big ask. Bring Evie home. Santa, with a wink, said he’s heard about that. So Evie’s story is definitely out there but we need it to keep being spread around. The family is not giving up and want their Christmas miracle. Evie: You are deeply missed! It’s time for you to come home girl! Everyone, please keep sharing our posts. We have no further updates at this time but every lead we are sent, we have been following up on!

UPDATED TO ADD: Please also check under any tarps that might be covering wood piles, etc. All residents of Richmond and area, if you have a shed, barn, shelter of any kind (even a porch), please check them. If you notice any paw prints in and out of the shelter that normally wouldn’t be there, but you don’t find Evie inside, please message us with the location. We will investigate it. Thank you again to everyone who has been sharing Evie’s story! Your support and help mean...s the world to the family! To Evie: its time for you to come home sweetheart.

Residents around South Carleton High School... we need YOUR help!! Evie still has not been found and we have had no confirmed sightings. If your property backs onto a park, train tracks or any trails around or near the area of South Carleton High School AND you have a trail camera, we are asking people to please set them up and report back to us what you see (even if it’s not a dog). ... We are under the understanding that there is a resident fox in the area which makes it hard to tell if the prints we’ve been following are that of a fox or Evie (or another loose dog for that matter). We are trying to narrow down our search areas. If you’ve seen prints in the snow that look like they could be those of a dog (with no human footprints beside them), we ask that you please take multiple pictures of them and send along to us (with the exact location). If you have even a slightest hunch that she might be around, please send us any details. Every lead is being followed up on. Very important: if you happen to see her, do not chase her or call her name. Please take a photo and take note of exactly where you saw her, where she was coming from and where she was heading. Call 819-639-1319 or send us a message with the info.

UPDATE (as of December 15th) Evie is still missing. Her parents spent the entire day searching and following tracks but no luck. Since she disappeared on December 8th, we have had 2 unconfirmed sightings. It is hard to determine if they were Evie or not as we do not know if she’s still wearing her Christmas sweater and the area she disappeared from has quite a bit of wildlife so it’s easy to mistake a small dog for a fox, etc. With that said, we are appealing to everyone to... PLEASE keep spreading the word. If anyone sees her, no matter what time of the day or night, please call 819-639-1319 or send us a message right here (the messages go to our phone). We will need an exact location and direction she is heading. Please do not chase or call for her (this part is very important). She is clearly laying low and anything can spook her but we expect she will be out at dusk and during the night looking for food. We’d like to thank everyone for your continued support and help with spreading the word!

Thanks to the snow we received over night, this makes it easier to hopefully pick up on Evie’s trail. We are asking people to please not go out right now looking for her. We have people out searching and we have expanded our search area. Lots of people rushing out to help can send her further away and might cover up any bit of fresh tracks. How you can help.... keep sharing this Facebook page and our posts. Because of social media we have received a possible sighting. It’s... a long shot but we have people out searching the area the sighting was in. If you think you might have seen Evie, please message us. It might of even been for a split second but that possible sighting will help us learn more about where she is travelling and possibly where she is hiding out. Every single tip is followed up on so please keep sharing!

Evie's story: Evie went missing on Sunday, December 8th. She doesn't normally run away or venture far from her humans, but this day, she ran into a bush/forest after a squirrel (or bunny, we aren't sure). We believe she got disoriented and couldn't find her way back. Searching everywhere that night and turning to social media, turned up nothing on our pour Evie! Since December 8th, there has been one possible sighting (late Tuesday night). A volunteer team has been formed ...and have been out searching for her daily. With the snow melting away and all this rain, it has made it nearly impossible to pick up on her trail. We are not losing faith that she is still out there, or maybe someone has taken her in but hasn't reported her yet. She is timid and shy of people she doesn't know. She is a 1 year old French Bulldog / Boston Terrier mix. She is microchipped and was wearing a red and green Christmas sweater when she disappeared. Important information: IF you spot her, we ask that you do not chase her or call her name. Take a picture with your phone, if you can, and note exactly where she was and which direction she was heading. Then, please call 819-639-1319 or send any information to this Facebook page. We ask that if you plan on helping look for her, to please notify us. It is very important that we don't have a bunch of people going out at once. We have volunteers who have covered a wide search area already. Evie will be in fight or flight mode right now so anything can spook her and drive her away further or deeper into hiding! Please help us with a Christmas miracle and help end this nightmare! Spread this page far and wide - if she has travelled further away from where she first ran off, someone will hopefully spot her and know who to contact if they've seen these posts! We will update this page as much as we can! Thank you to everyone for all of your love and support! It is greatly appreciated! We'd like to thank Ottawa and Valley Lost Pet Network for helping us spread the word as well. www.facebook.com/lostpetnetwork/posts/2906804672715629
