Sometimes you need to earn brownie points at home - Mrs M wanted a new bed - this king size bed was a pleasure to make

Laying out the fishbone and you can really start to get a feel for the shape of this board - all the right curves in all the right places

Once the teak inlays have dried, I can then get this bottom panel on to rocker table and bond the skeleton to it. I've used small strips of maple to contrast against the Teak. It will be stunning when the finish is applied

My least favorite part of a build, machining the timber, but once done, I can lay out and decide how the boards should go together. This SUP will be a delicious combination of Western Red Cedar and African Teak

One of my favourite parts of any build - laying out the materials. Western Red cedar and maple for accent. Beautiful timber but blimey that made a hole in the wallet!!

The first mock up of this hollow paddleboard. At 11'6" and 31.5 inches wide it'll be a biggy - I suppose it needs to be to support my weight @ Halfmoon Bay, British Columbia
