Shift sign-up for Burn In The Forest opens tonight! If you trained this year, I sent you an email on Sunday reminding you to register on Volcor using BITF's "Be The Crew" survey. If you trained in Vancouver, I entered you into Volcor anyways (just in case).... This evening, I sent out an email to everyone who was in Volcor with more details on how to sign up for shifts. If you did not receive either of these emails, (a) please check your spam or junk folders, and (b) if you still don't have one, drop me a line and I'll send you the info.

Hi friends and fellow Burners! We have our last few Ranger trainings coming up and we’d love to see you there! This weekend we have one in Vancouver and one in Victoria. The trainings are from 10-2:30, and qualify you to Ranger at any Pacific Northwest Regional all year! There is also a Black Rock Ranger Training on June 1st, which qualifies you to Ranger at any worldwide Regional. However, Black Rock Ranger applications have closed for 2019. Hi Rangers & Friends, We're getting in to training season now with IMBY, Otherworld and Burn in the Forest on the horizon. After two successful trainings so far, in Victoria and Vancouver, we are looking forward to three more. All of them are now open for enrollment on the website, and we hope that you will come out to join us. In 2018, we trained 103 Rangers, and this year, we're aiming for 150!... We've made a good start on that already, though with a need for solid round-the-clock coverage for the summer events - and with Otherworld being a full day longer in 2019 - we need you (and your friends) more than ever. The final three Regional Ranger training sessions of 2019 are: Vancouver - Saturday, May 25 Victoria - Sunday, May 26 Vancouver - Saturday, June 15 There is also a Black Rock Ranger training in Vancouver on Saturday June 1, which is in need of Auditors to help with acting roles. Attending will not count towards becoming a BRR this year, but with it, you can ranger at any regional event in the world.
