As a result, and keeping with our COVID-19 safety measures: Please be aware that exterior line-ups may occur: please dress accordingly as there may be a wait time to get into the shop... We've had a number of inquiries about whether or not we are open. As your independent specialty grocer, which many have come to rely on, we are remaining open at this time. Currently, our hours of operation remain the same. If our hours change we will be sure to advise on this page. We are also offering curb-side pickup - simply place your order over the phone or on our website at britishpantrycanada.ca (select local pickup). When you arrive at the British Pantry, call us at... 403-220-1406 and we will bring your order to your car and place it in your trunk. We are also offering local delivery service for a small fee and will advise on delivery details when you place your order. We want to reassure you that we remain committed to upholding the strictest standards to ensure customer and employee health and safety in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic. We have taken the following steps to ensure adherence and compliance with all directives and public health orders issued by the Provincial Government. In addition to standards prescribed in the Alberta Food Retail and Food Services Code, we have adopted the following supplemental practices in light of the pandemic: - A maximum of four guests permitted in the store at any given time. If we have 4 customers in the shop, we will kindly ask other customers to wait outside in their car, or outside the shop at a safe distance from one another. - Accepting Debit and Credit only, with customers being encouraged to tap their credit card as payment if possible. At this time we are no longer accepting cash as payment. - Disinfectant wipes are being used to sanitize our point of sale pin-pad device after each customer use. - Regular sanitization of all hard touch surfaces including our shop door handle after customers enter or exit, fridge and freezer door handles, shopping basket handles and more. Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued patronage during these trying times.
