EXCITING NEWS - WE ARE GROWING!!!!! PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE!!! We are excited to introduce the newest member of our team, Dr. Craig Younker! Dr. Younker grew up and went to school in the Saint John area. In 2013 he completed his Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in biology at the University of New Brunswick and subsequently he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Dalhousie University in 2017 where he graduated with the Canadian Restorative Dentistry and Pr...osthodontic Award awarded to the graduating student with the highest standing in restorative dentistry and prosthodontics. For the last several years Dr. Younker has been practicing dentistry in Alberta, however has recently relocated back to the east coast and we are happy to announce he will be joining us in September, there really is no place like the Maritimes! Dr. Younker provides a variety of dentistry services including: Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, crown/bridge, partial dentures, extractions, root canals, pediatric dentistry and nitrous oxide (laughing gas) sedation for patients with dental anxiety. We are very pleased to announce we will re-open June 1! Dr. Brittain is currently working through emergency and urgent care patients who required follow-up to problems which arose during the COVID19 shutdown. Our Patient Coordinators will soon be moving onto rescheduling the appointments that were affected by the shutdown, and hygiene services are also set to resume (albeit in a limited capacity). We appreciate your patience and understanding as we begin the rescheduling pr...ocess. It is a large task but we’re eager to get rolling! There are several measures that have been implemented to comply with NBDS and NBCDH Operational Plans. The purpose of these measures is to be able to provide services as safely as possible, following enhanced infection control protocols. Please be prepared for a different experience than you have become accustomed to, from the pre-screening questionnaire right through to the hand sanitizer before you leave! Our team is bit more covered up than usual, but we can assure you we’re the same friendly and caring people you’re used to underneath it all. We’re committed to taking every precaution for the safety of our patients and staff while delivering quality services! See you soon!!

Happy Victoria Day weekend!!! We are happy to provide you with a status update. Our team has been working hard to prepare for re-opening. Under the current governmental and NBDS requirements, this is no simple task. Rest assured that your next visit will be very different from what you are accustomed to, as we implement the new requirements necessary to maintain the safest work environment possible for you. We plan to re-open later this week. Please understand that our sched...ule will be modified - there are two months worth of urgent care appointments to catch up with, along with all of the scheduled appointments which had to be postponed. With the new safety protocols in place, appointments will require more time than they used to. All elective work will be postponed indefinitely. Also dental hygiene visits continue to be suspended until further notice. Any upcoming scheduled appointments should be considered cancelled for the time being. Our administrative team will be in touch with further direction. In spite of all this, we are thrilled to soon be ready to see you again! To our valued patient family, On Friday, May 8th, Premier Blaine Higgs announced a loosening of restrictions that have been in place due to the COVID 19 pandemic. We are pleased that dental profession was included in the announcement, and look forward to serving you again very soon! Currently we remain closed, as we await the Operational Plan we require from the New Brunswick Dental Society. We’ve been told that this plan will provide us with the standards we must meet in ord...er to treat you in a safe environment. Once we have this plan, we can begin the process of meeting the standards that are set, which will ultimately lead us to re-opening our clinic and welcoming you back! We hope to have further updates very soon. In the meantime, please continue to follow the guidelines we’ve all been following in hope of continuing the success we’ve had at managing this pandemic. PLEASE SHARE!! In accordance with the recommendations of New Brunswick’s Chief Medical Officer and the New Brunswick Dental Society, all non-essential and elective dental treatment has been suspended until further notice. Treatment will be as limited as possible as we try to help curb the spread of COVID-19. At this time we will only be addressing true dental emergencies for our current patients, including significant swelling, dental trauma, and unmanageable pain. If you require assistance, please call the office and leave a message. Someone will be in contact with you. Anyone with an upcoming scheduled appointment should consider it cancelled, until the CMO and NBDS recommendations change.
