Truth for a moment here, I’m a bit of a perfectionist. You’ll probably find that as a common trait among most newborn photographers. I love it when I can get a pose just perfect. But sometimes no matter how many times I fix their fingers or put their toes back into position they pull them away and do their own thing. I’ve learned that what’s more important than getting it perfect in my eyes when that babe just isn’t having it is getting the shot. Because a parent doesn’t care... like I do if they had their fists balled up or their mouth is open, all they care about is getting those priceless photos of their baby to remember how tiny they were. And because my sessions are baby-led I won’t ever force a baby to do something that’s beyond their comfort level. So while I certainly strive to give you perfect photos of your babe, know that regardless I strive to give you adorable shots that you as a parent will treasure always.
