I've never posted a blurry, out of focus photo before, and even as I type this I am anxious. Heck it’s taken me 3 weeks to post this photo LOL. I strive so hard to post the best of the best photos I’ve taken, and to me, blurry photos are not the best. BUT I am learning that a little blur, motion and out of focus images are still beautiful and show feeling just as well! So here is my first blurry, out of focus, off centered photo in all it’s glory. Do you think these kinds of photos are art? Do you feel emotion, feeling or anything from them?! Let me know!

I met up with Sarah + Ryan on the weekend for their engagement session, and to say we had tons of fun is an understatement! It was full of laughs, puppy kisses, and me making a fool of myself - as always! I'll do whatever I have to do to make you laugh, even if it is at me! LOL Sarah + Ryan will be my first wedding of 2021 and I cannot wait for it!!

Holy man! It's finally that part of December where we have no idea what day it is, what we're doing and all the calories we eat from the snacks and many meals don't count To all the recently engaged out there, congratulations!!! Have I ever told you guys how much I love veils? Yes? Oh... well I'm here again coming at ya' with a PSA to remind you how magical veils are Not everyone loves them, but if you are thinking of a veil, a cathedral one is what dreams are made of! AND GUESS WHAT? You can get them without paying $300 + dollars! I know, I know.. crazy. Here are some tips I have for buying a veil: 1. This is the most important tip I can give ANY bride. Whether you want a short vei...l, medium or cathedral, no matter if its lace trim or plain, BE sure the veil MATCHES your dress color-wise - yes, it will be noticeable if one is white and the other is ivory. Bring your dress with you when shopping for a veil, or vice versa. 2. Try to shop second hand! I honestly got mine for $20 from another bride on the wedding buy & sell site, which is nice because typically you only wear it for ceremony and a few photos (like this - !!!) 3. Be sure to steam it before the wedding and hang it up high so it doesn't get wrinkled. It is made of a fabric that will wrinkle easy so this will help your veil stay loose and and flowy. 4. This is the last tip, but it's a important one so keep reading! If you DON'T want a veil, don't do it. I may advocate for veils and scream from the rooftops how gorgeous they are BUT if it's not you, don't do it. It's your wedding and you must do what makes you happy and feel like the most beautiful bride - if a veil doesn't do that for you, don't get it. Simple as that. you do you - it is your dang day! I honestly cannot believe it's already Christmas Eve. 2020 blew by so fast, and with all the changes and regulations that have happened, it really doesn't feel like Christmas at all. BUT on a positive note, I'm going into a four-day weekend, then a 2 day work week and back to another 4 day weekend. I'm looking forward to some sleeping in, christmas movies with my husband and relaxation. Merry Christmas everyone!

How is it time is flying by sooo fast? Like 2020 is almost over (although, praise the lord on that amiright?! hahah) but like time needs to slow down (except in regards to covid, move faster please I want to see my friends and family closely thanks) But like for example, it was already over a month ago since I was in Canmore for a photography retreat and I'm itching to get my hands on another! I'm curious... what's something you're DYING to do, aside from travel, that you can't do due to covid?!

Hey! I noticed a few new faces around here, so I figured I’d introduce myself again! I’m Brittany, and I’m going to share with you some facts about myself; some of which I bet I’m one of very few people who will agree with haha. 1. I can’t stand onions. Not onion rings, not fried, not raw Not at all. Actually, same with mushrooms. 2. I think the Star Wars series, Harry Potter series, and The Lord of the Rings series are all boring; I honestly cannot get into a...ny of them. BUT Fun fact, I’ve been to Hobbiton in New Zealand where The Lord of the Rings movies took place 3. I hate wearing socks. 4. I don’t like coffee, tea or really any hot beverage. I MIGHT have 1 or 2 hot chocolates a year in winter, but that’s about it. Well there ya’ have it! 4 facts about me that are not very common amongst most people! If this is not the cutest little family, I don't know what is! Kayleigh was super shy when it came to me, but I slightly won her over with having Elmo playing on my phone. But, as you can see at the end the only true giggles come from Dad with the sneak attack tickles! I love photographing families because these are the memories you will cherish for years to come.
