FOUND RCMP searching for missing Langford boys in Duncan/Lake Cowichan area West Shore RCMP and Lake Cowichan RCMP are searching for two missing boys from Langford, Dylan Deroy (18 years old) and Jordan Phillion (15 years old), after they failed to return home from a trip in the Duncan/Lake Cowichan area on July 5, 2020. West Shore RCMP were contacted by the Deroy and Phillion families after the boys failed to return from their trip. Police have determined that at on Ju...ly 5, 2020 at 11:34 a.m. Deroy's cell phone was used near the 300 block of Gibbins Rd, North Cowichan. There has been no cell phone activity since that time. It is believed Dylan Deroy and Jordan Phillion may be travelling on back roads toward Youbou/ Lake Cowichan in Deroy's white 1996 GMC Sonoma pickup truck. It is not believed they were prepared to camp or spend the night as they only packed for a day trip. Vehicle: 1996 white GMC Sonoma Truck BC licence plate PD3539 Syclone" sticker Lake Cowichan RCMP have deployed local Search and Rescue teams. A RCMP helicopter and Civil Air Search and Rescue planes will be conducting a search by air. Police are concerned for the well being of Dylan Deroy and Jordan Phillion.
