When it’s cold and snowy out, stay warm and cozy with tea and yoga. Move with the flow of your body and breath, and do what feels good for you. We need to take time to slow down to rest and rejuvenate. Deep breaths and deep stretches feel oh so good! Feeling grateful for my warm cozy home, my loving and supportive family and friends, this amazing yoga community, and most of all, giving thanks and remembering all the men and women who have served. Their sacrifices allow us to live this beautiful life where we have the opportunity to choose our path, dream big, and reach our highest potential. Lest we forget. Hi friends! I’m excited to share that I will be offering a new 6-week yoga series starting soon. Strengthen, Flow, & Restore 6-Week Class Series In this 6-week series, we will move through a variety of poses and breathing practices that promote strengthening, stabilizing, flexibility, detoxifying, mindfulness, and relaxation. ... Every week will introduce new sequences where you will learn to balance strong and steady, work with your breath, calm your mind, and increase your mental clarity. You will have the opportunity to rest, restore, and rejuvenate through a soothing meditation every class. This class series best suits beginner and intermediate yogis as we will be exploring the foundations of the yoga practice so you can take it home and practice on your own. There are two class options; both will be very similar, so please pick the date/time that works best for you. The cost is $80/person for 6 weeks for a 75 minute class. Maximum 10 person/class. Every Monday, starting November 4 to December 9 from 5:30PM 6:45PM at the Campbellford Library... I love this quote as it’s an important reminder not to worry about the past or the future; you literally can do nothing to change the past and also can’t control what the future brings. For the future, all you can do is your best in the present moment to set yourself up for success set goals, take control of what you can, and let go of the rest. And remember, life happens.... Happiness and peace exist right here, right now, in this present moment. Don’t let your past or future override the gift of your life right now. When we’re able to quiet our mind (through breathing, meditation, yoga), we allow that sense of peace, self-love, of wholeness just as we are, to vibrate out into the world. Let your true self shine bright and be grateful for your life right now. What you put out there, will come back to you.

By focusing on your inhales and exhales, your awareness shifts onto your breath and away from the activity of your mind. Being mindful of your breath helps calm the chatter of the mind and helps to sharpen your focus and awareness in the present moment.
