Another fantastic conference put on by the SPMABC for 2020, witch coincidentally is their 25th Aniversary conference! Belonging to groups such as this and participating in these types of events is such an important part of our industry and we cant express how much we appreciate them!

We have experienced a large number of calls for problems with elm seed beetles recently. They seem to have arrived in Kamloops in 2017 but the numbers have certainly increased this season. Keep in mind that a mouse can fit through a gap the size of a pen, and a rat can squeeze through a gap the size of a quarter! Goodmorning Kamloops! We have been noticing wasps more and more now. Don't put up with them. Give us a call, we have excellent wasp bags that have a pheromone trap in them. Bees are not attracted to this trap, just wasps. Let us know if we can help!

Had a call today for these wee guys... these are not wasps or honey bees or bumble bees...they are in fact called Tawny Mining bees. These bees are completely h...armless and are a solitary bee - they don't have a queen and live in a nest, they live alone and lay a single egg in the small hole in the soil that they excavate. These insects are important pollinators and should be left alone... any pest controller treating these guys is taking money under false pretences as they are completely harmless.....as my photos show See more

Hey Kamloops....if you're buying a house, get a termite inspection. It will save you lots of money in the long run. A termite inspection is not the same as a home inspection so make sure that you remember this when purchasing. Hey Kamloops, might be a good idea to do a walk-around your house this weekend! Rats are everywhere. Ensure everything is sealed properly. If there is a gap the size of a quarter, a rat can and will push his way through. Mice - all they need is the size of the tip of a pen! Rodent-proof your home this weekend. Roof rats are no longer just a brock/valleyview issue, we have done them in Juniper, Aberdeen, and Sahali!

Beautiful day out there today. Came across two very large carpenter ant nests last week. Carpenter ants can destroy wood structures, much like termites. Carpenter ants chew the wood to make tunnels, without consuming the wood. Termites consume the wood. Know the difference between termites and carpenter ants? About three grand!

Kamloops has termites. Lots of them. Don't let it scare you, but get it dealt with promptly. Did you know that you are breaking the law if you sell your house KNOWING it has termites and you do not disclose it in the sale?! Don't set yourself up for trouble, call us for a professional Termite Inspection. We do these on a daily basis in Kamloops. Termites are here, they have been for a long time and will continue to be.
