The Brock Esports Varsity Overwatch team has completed the TESPA Collegiate series preseason with a game record of 18-21(W-L) which translates to a Map victory of 46.2%. With their sights set on the regular season starting soon stay tuned to our socials for more information regarding results.

The Brock Esports Hearthstone Team closed out their TESPA season with a strong 3-2 win over Wayne State University after a marathon match! The team wraps up this semester of TESPA with a final record of 5-3, which sets a new win record for a Brock Hearthstone team in TESPA!. Our results were as follows. Round 1 vs. Carleton University (3-0 W) Round 2 vs. University of Michigan (0-3 L) Round 3 vs. The University of St. Thomas (FFW)... As the 2018/2019 season comes to an end we look back at a year in review from May 2018 to April 2019. Our teams have thrived through multiple collegiate and non-collegiate competitions. Although results varied we are proud and grateful for the dedication players have put in this past year. We would like to thank everyone in the Brock Esports community for all the support. President’s Farewell 2018 - 2019 It has been a wonderful year for Brock Esports, and I have a lot of people I have to say thank you to for their hard work. To start off with I must thank Nathan Mrakuzic for creating this club last year. Without his contributions we would not have had the opportunity to grow our club this year. I would like to thank Alex Simonits for his partnership and help, as the Super Smash Brother’s Club president. My executive team made up of Trevor (m...inx) and Michael (m grunt) have done a wonderful job with their roles which included creating and maintaining the Overwatch and CSGO teams respectively. As the newly elected President and Vice President they have larger things planned for the club next year and I look forward to seeing what they will achieve. I would like to thank the Team Leaders Trevor, Michael, Travis + Jeremy, Zac, Isiah + Edward, Alex, and our photography and graphic design helper Cameron. Through these team leaders we were able to organize and bring our Call of Duty, CSGO, Overwatch, Hearthstone and Rocket League teams to a new level. Their work allowed members of our club to compete against other universities and teams in online and in-person tournaments throughout the year. Although our results have varied, I am happy with the progress our club has seen this year. Our discord began with 10 or so members and is currently sitting at well above 300 members. While there was a rocky start (Thank you Macster and Leocakes for pointing it out), I have hopefully created a server that will be used for fun times in the future for all who enjoy playing video games with others at Brock University. May 1st will mark the official end of my tenure as Brock University President and the server will transfer over to Trevor at that time. Let’s hope he doesn’t delete it like he did the last one :P. For all those that contributed throughout the year and I didn’t name you, I would like to let you know that your efforts were greatly appreciated throughout this year. As for myself and my future you will be able to find me on Itunes and Spotify hosting the podcasts: ASAPWeekly Rocket League Podcast and The Rob and Kyle Show. I am graduating this year and I will hopefully be taking my teaching degree into a job as a teacher in the future. I hope that those who had spent time with me as part of the club this year enjoyed their time and that Brock Esports will always be a welcoming place for new students looking to be part of a video game club. This past weekend was Lan ETS 2019, which happened to be our Brock Esports Rocket League team's first ever LAN tournament. Going in as the 16th seed, our team out-performed the competition and managed to secure a final placement of 5th out of the 34 teams (15 of which were fully signed organizations in the running). One upset in particular involved our team eliminating World Champion "Lachinio" and his team from the tournament!
