This month's Rotary Club of the 1000 Islands Rotarian of the Month is Jacquie Pepper-Journal. She was recognized at our morning meeting last Wednesday, November 11th. In the photo from left to right are: Guest Speaker, Naval Veteran - Wayne McIssac, Rotarian of the Month - Jacquie Pepper-Journal and President - Bill Fox. Congratulations Jacquie!!!!

Naval veteran Wayne McIssac spoke to the Rotary Club of the 1000 Islands at the morning meeting last Wednesday, Remembrance Day. He spoke about the need to remember. Canada's first overseas deployment was in the Boer War. As well he spoke about his own experiences while in the Navy.
