HAPPY THANKSGIVING Brock Women’s Hockey is extra thankful this year to be safe, healthy, and surrounded by our families outside of the team family we have created. Each of our Badgers are thankful for the tremendous support they receive from our families and friends. We are thankful for them today, and everyday, especially during these uncertain times. While we couldn’t be with everyone in person, we are sending tremendous thanks to everyone. A special photo shoutout go...es out to the families of our players, Amelia Lackie (@amelialackie) and Mikayla Flanagan (@mikaylaflanagann) - thank you for supporting our Badgers! Happy Thanksgiving to our BWH Family! Thank you for your support all year round! #HappyThanksgiving #Thanksgiving #WeAreBadgers #BrockU #Brock #Badgers #OUA #Hockey

SUNDAY SPOTLIGHT Welcome back to another Sunday Spotlight! Over the course of our off-season, we will be highlighting what our team’s members have been up to. Paige Cohoon and Bailey Brooks headed out west to British Columbia for a week of adventures! Paige and Bailey started the week off with a hike to Strathcona Provincial Park on Vancouver Island. As they hiked through the trails, they saw beautiful mountains and water. They also hiked Mount Washington which is a h...uge ski resort. They felt like it was never ending but they worked up a good sweat. Paige and Bailey stated that the view from the top of Mount Washington was unbelievable. They also went to Tofino for a day trip and spent the whole day surfing which had to be the highlight of their trip. Paige and Bailey stated we definitely have a lot more appreciation for surfers now as it takes a lot of endurance to get constantly hit by waves and strength and balance to get up on the board. They added that we did get up multiple times though, but what do people expect, we’re Brock Varsity Players!! The beach house Paige and Bailey stayed at was in the town of Comox on Vancouver Island right on the Pacific Ocean. Paige and Bailey would kayak almost every morning and see tons of seals. It was overall a great experience and we highly suggest everyone going out there to visit. Thanks for sharing your adventure in today’s Sunday Spotlight, Paige and Bailey! #WeAreBadgers #BrockU #Brock #Badgers #OUA #BritishColumbia #VancouverIsland #Travel
