Kawartha Lakes Bikers Rights Organization 29.11.2020

I'm a Biker, please understand... The 2 car lengths I leave between the car in front of me isn't for you to cut me off! Contrary to popular belief, I can't stop... my bike on a dime! I speed up, when in your blind spot not to race, but so you see me! I ride in the right track of the left lane usually 10-15 MPH over the speed limit. This way I only have to worry about people on my right side, and I have somewhere to go when you decide to crowd into my lane! Please put your phone down & stop texting! Because the life you save may be mine! Or yours! Remember to share the road My bike is loud so you people know I'm near! When making a lane change, please use the little devices on your vehicle known as MIRRORS! I recommend utilizing them & the neck the good Lord gave you! Instead of just taking position in the very lane I possess... I ride with my high-beams on at all times, this is so you can see me day or night! Please don't flash me... I will not turn them off! So watch out for this Biker & all my Brothers & Sisters! Not just this weekend! Let's just make it a habit! We will be better off! And I'll be ALIVE! If you're my biker friend & agree, please feel free to copy & paste! Might as well get the word out!!! BIKER LIVES MATTER. ~ See more

Just an update from another site , thanks to C.J.Calvin for the info: To anyone riding the 400 north. Just north of Bradford there is a small concrete patch. In... the seam where it meets the asphalt a big chunk is missing between the right lane and the centre lane about midway though the concrete. The open area is big enough to cause you to wipe out if you are changing lanes. I saw it yesterday and today it’s not patched. The concrete patch is in the right lane only and is about 60 feet in length. I am surprised it has not caused a major accident yet. So pass on this information to anyone you know who ride the 400 north... North of Bradford See more
